    Toolangi

Today I led a trip to Toolangi with 5 vehicles from the 4WD Trackers Club.

It was a great day but was disappointed to see many tracks still closed. But what got me was we did once track that was about 15 kms long, I checked the DSE website last night and it said the track was opened, which it was until we got to the end and there was a sign saying track closed. Why only at one end???

I taught a new member recovery techniques, the current way, we even had a local 4WD training group (who were driving past) stop to have a look. And yes my car was one of the vehicles to get bogged. Anyway it was a great day out.

Toolangi seems to be very dry at the moment, all the usual bog holes that I go to were either very little or dried up. Please rain Mother Nature, I wanted to get muddy today!
A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart.

If no one else comments on it I will try and find it for you Bel

Hey Bel, yeah there's a lot of them in Toolangi.

Especially when you try to get out up at Kinglake along the Melba.

    Is that where it was?

Hey, where was my phone call...lol
