    Centre console

Hi all have been thinking about a new console for the old truck.
Anybody have any ideas what will fit or who makes a good after market one.

    What model do you have?
    What type of seats?

Ther's a few on E-Bay at the moment to fit GQ's and GU's.

There's always GQ's being wrecked on E-Bay, an original one for a GQ would be the easiest to fit
and way cheaper than a custom built one.
Put up a post in the wanted section as well.
Plenty of WA members on here, so it shouldn't be too hard to get one in WA.

Standard GQ console would be the easiest for you
Theres a few different ones, think the later GQ consoles sit up a bit higher at the lid than the early ones (or maybe its the luxo model ones ???)
Goin custom , well its a custom mite fit others but wont fit yours , custom to suit youll pay heaps
If your handy with a jig saw , get some plywood, make some templates from say cardboard then cut from the ply ,and modify to your taste , trim to your taste
Wont cost much , but could take awhile

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I picked up one of the Waeco coolers above at the Brisbane 4x4 show a few weekends ago for $89. Fits in there perfectly and works really well as a cooler! Very happy.
