Ha-ha, dont jinx me Todd,
My hatch was a LX , the XU1s were a totally different car all together (LC-LJ shape Toranas), dunno what it would fetch these days, you cant see half of the work in the pics, "all" the underneath was just as detailed as the rest of the car, custom diff bracing, coilover shocks, chrome etc, it even had full competition stereo, 10'' sub boxes moulded into where the rear doors would be, 8'' tube behind the dash, and another half dozen speakers, it won heaps of Trophys for both car shows and audio comps,(all now in boxes in my attic)
As with all the cars ive ever owned, i drive em everywhere and often, after years of spending about 6hrs just to wash it properly ,and things like having to paint the back of brake pads ,and polish the calipers when you do a service etc, it was a lot of work, i had no house or kids then so had time and money to waste on it, so while id still like to have it, i don't really miss it at all

This is my current toy:
1966 HR Holden Special
58,000 miles, original unrestored condition. Never had a radio, heater, windscreen washers etc.
Drives beautiful!
I'm thinking I should dig out some old photo's of some others...
I've had another HR, LX Hatch, HZ Caprice, VQ Caprice, VN Calais (with factory V8 manual), VU SS, VE SS Sportwagon Manual.... Just some of the favourites!

Definitely not in the same class as the rest here but I had a VH sedan with a sh*t hot 202, hot cam, blueprint 173 hp head ported and polished, straight cut timing gears, elec dizzy, etc etc... over jetted weber, stage 3 suspension, Celica steelcase 5 speed. Wasn't the neatest, and definitely not rare, but was great fun to drive. Would still be putting out power at 7000 rpm!

Nothing wrong with a Holden 6 - especially with a bit of work.
