4th gear 50kph

hi out there could some one tell me what is causing my dx 4.2 to run rough, ie surging, jerky forward moition, when traveling in 4th at 50ks, stops when putting foot down , new fiuel filter fitted , dx done 175ks, not smoking starts ok, cheers bazz

I experienced this after a good sinking in a river, new fuel filter, dump the fuel in the tank and cleaned it. Added some injector cleaner then another fuel filter after a month or so and problem solved, I'm running diesel.

diesel 4.2, done all the filters replaced, i;m thinking the pump may need adjusting cheers bazz , margret river
