    Hi all just to pick this thread up again I have now arrived here in Australia and successfully imported the GU Shorty all Rego done insurance etc No Drama and has blue MOD plate and a Personal Import plate. Roadworthy all done etc

    That's great mate, was wondering how you ended up! Nice to see one getting around. Have you been able to get it dirty yet?


    Pics just loaded. How do you find the tracks here? What were you doing? IE rocks, mud, sand etc?

    Hi not really been able to get out that much been travelling quite a bit with work but hope to get out and do a few in the run up to xmas

    Hi AB had to obviously pay for shipping (it came in a 40ft container with all our furniture etc) Paid import duty and GST etc but as I owned it for 4-5 years in UK prior to moving here no major problems . Don't think you can bring one in unless you have owned it and can prove it 9had to provide proof of residence in Uk service receipts etc etc But dealt with a great shipping company that took all the drama out of it.
