Now to find where this exhaust leak is... I have to drive with the air on recirculate all the time otherwise when I stop moving I get a nose full of exhaust fumes.

Could it be coming from the front somewhere ?
When my EGR pipe cracked on the old patrol it was pretty evident inside .
Yours be at turbo maybe or manifold ...

I have recently serviced both front hubs, but had a bit of a parking mishap last week, where the front left tyre hit the gutter a bit harder than normal. The dreaded wobbles at around 80ks were just starting to occur, so I checked the bearing for movement and sure enough, I had to nip up the pre-load a fair bit.

hows the seal around your gear stick? probably the biggest point of entry near to the exhaust?

Changed both my engine mounts last night. Can’t talk about it as I’m still too traumatized by the experience
