Drove my Patrol through some lovely country side and got to get a view like this. 20170611_140721 (Medium).jpg
I did pretty well. I had a rather loud and concerning crack coming from the front rh hub when I engaged 4wd. So I did the entire weekends tracks in 2wd and on AT's. I was quite surprised how it went.
I connected the emergency start function on my smart solenoid and installed a reverse camera so I can see my new camper when I'm backing up to it.

Yeah a reverse camera making hooking up to the camper so much easier hey. I have three lines on the screen when in reverse. Green, yellow then red, red being the closest to the car, this line i have right on top of the two ball/ hitch.I actually want to install a second camera higher up on the rear of the roof rack, and have a remote switch for this camera so I can look at the trailer to see how things are going whilst towing.
Drove it haha! First time in months since starting to play with it, could not be any more happier boost response is just stupid 20psi by 1600rpm. My little experiment has worked well, my intake air temps under full load are 23 degrees!! with the water temp going into the water air cooler at 10 degrees. After I put some kms on it in the next week ill post up real world results and some piccies on what ive actually done to achieve it.
Stuck my 40amp smart charger on the batteries to keep them in good condition. I've been doing this once a month for some time now, as the Patrol is no longer my daily drive.

I made a cheap aluminium heat shield for my aftermarket cruise control actuator. It is mounted on the firewall high on LHS, so gets a fair bit of heat from the turbo and exhaust manifold. The instructions said mount away from heat, so I thought the shield might be worthwhile.
Fitted one of these. There are a number of good right-ups on them on Y-tube but got no responses from members on various forums I frequent. 30 day money back if your not happy with it, so I'll give it a go.
