Had the on John Deere tractor hydraulics but no idea of working pressure , very similar to the old reusable fittings on oxy / acetylene hoses , the barb part screws inside the hose and the outer screws over the outside sort of crushing and biting as it goes .
They only failed at the join if allowed to swing freely for to long , used to tie up the slack with hay bale twine .

Ok, I will have a look at them, but if I can get the details of the hose fittings currently in use, I can get the hoses made up and fit myself. I like the idea of the crimp fitting, even though these hoses will remain static in location and not be exposed to any movement fatigue. I did have a look on google and recall seeing these fittings in use. Thanks for the input, appreciate it.

Thanks for that. I have to work tomorrow and have one of the contractors who does machining at a hydraulic company in Melb. I will see if he can identify them first then sort out which way to go. Now its so close am itching to get it sorted and put to bed.

Played with the solar regulator , the settings are adjustable and it turns out the setting for charge was 13.7 volts for some reason , why do I always throw the manufacturers recommendations away before reading them .

Started on the wiring for the trans oil gauge , all hooked up bar the sensor wire and the sensor , I will buy another banjo bolt and have it drilled and tapped for the sensor and then swap them over .
While I had the fuse box out and the shrouds of the steering wheel column I'm going to run left and right blinkers to the new mirrors so I'm going to run the wires now into the front doors .

Blinker wires done , trans oil gauge mounted and all wires except sensor are hooked up .
Spent hours trying to get the wires through the rubber conduit in the doors and ended up cracking the shits and have run them alongside the conduit and using small cable ties fixed the wire to the conduit .
