The 747
Took the roof rack off for the first time, looks heaps better without it. Didn't realise how bloody heavy they are! Then took it for a little local drive, looking for good firewood spots.

Storage underneath is minimal , I have to get one of those portable twin tub washing machines in and out at some point so just needed a flat surface , otherwise I would have made enough room for pull out draws etc .

As for tie down points I've marked where the steel is underneath so I can use that for strength, need a few that's for sure .

Finally finished the PTO - Hydraulic pump bracket, fully installed and tightish on the exhaust (20mm clearance), but a couple of wraps of insulating blanket on the exhaust should resolve. Cut the floor for the actuator to the RH side of the gear stick, installed the actuator lever assy - another fiddly job with a Dremmel to cut the floor out. Final tasks are to get new hoses made for the system, seal the hole into the cabin for the actuator, and work out how to run the actuator cable because the PTO is upside down.

you could drill holes right through everything and use some eye nuts here and there.
Use some wide mudguard or penny washers to spread the load some what......lol
M8 would be sufficient I reckon

Thanks TD wasn't exactly sure what to do with the tie downs but need to work out what's going first , at the moment it's just the washing machine and a blow mould table , perhaps I can stock up on beer for the rest of the room .
