..........
Got the starting problem fixed.
Had taken it to Nissan dealer and they diagnosed the reason it was slow to start was the fuel rail pressure relief valve and told me it could not be purchased on its own so I would have to replace the complete fuel rail at a cost with labour of $2600.
I had remembered reading a thread on here about a slow starting Patrol and re-read it and they had changed the valve on its own so then checked Patrolapart and they had the valve for sale so bought it from them for $300 and got my normal mechanic to replace it. (unfortunately my usual mechanic had not been able to diagnose the problem before)
Patrol starts normally now and with help from info on here I saved lots of money.

Firstly, In NSW for 2 qualify for club rego car needs 2 be 30 years old so my 92 GQ doesn't qualify 2 start with
Secondly, you have 2 join a club that is registered under the Roads & Maritime Services, no biggy but I believe there is only one four wheel drive club based in Coffs Harbour what is apart of this scheme, no point joining a hot rod club as you can only drive club day events.
They are trialing a new scheme running at the moment which is where members of a club can actually use there vehicle for 60 days of general use (ie maintenance and personal use) each year, outside of club organised events. Each day of general use must be recorded in a log book issued at a registry or service centre.
The log book trial will operate for two years, with an evaluation to be completed during this period as part of Roads and Maritime’s review of the overall Conditional Registration Scheme.
They really need 2 look into recreational rego then just this conditional crap they have at the moment, can't see it happening though

That's pretty much Vic club rego. Log book and limited days. Issue is you see beat up unroady shit boxes that shouldn't even be on the road with club reg driving daily, exceeding any daily cap but just not filling in their logs.
