Thanks mate its only nipped up ATM and want to protect
the gutter as best I can before doing many miles.
Need to fab some awning brackets as well.
silly me not thinking [again] welded the shovel holder to the lhs
no biggie having the awning on the drivers side , as I dont think there are
left or right hand camp sites. So a bit of work ahead.
EDIT;; just had a look so will super glue some 1/8th insertion rubber I have on the fixing plate,
that will leave no metal to metal anywhere, whoooo hoooo
All done ,well protected now, now to fit the light bar first.

AARRRGGGhhhhhhhh the light bar doesn't fit using the OE mounting legs.
so I'll need to fabricate some custom legs and get them powder coated.
Only a small set back

Dug some small areas of
rust out of the LHS gutter
and treated it with ferronite.
I will paint it tomorrow.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Drove it to Melbourne. Tried to park in a carpark and apparently they are mostly 2.0m limits. I fit in all the 2.1m back home but 2.0 results in a busted rhino shovel holder. Damn city folks and their small car parks.
