    G’day Prez,
Dash cam is a Uniden & is a POS. Wouldn’t recommend it.It was a freebie with the CB when I bought it.

4 batteries Only the cranker under the bonnet, & 3 x 120Ah in the pod. All can be paralleled together which gives me the options of charging all 4 from solar, all 4 from mains charger, all 4 direct from alternator if pod batteries were to ever get low enough to warrant a higher bulk charge rate than the 40 amps dc to dc charger can give. Winch runs of cranker, but can add the pod batteries to them at the flick of a switch. Can also jump start the vehicle off the pod batteries using the switch. Reckon I’ve got all bases covered!

I’ve got another portable 100w folding panel & regulator which came with the Tvan, but as I’m not replacing the now dead Tvan battery I will probably mount it on the shed roof to charge a battery to run a composting toilet fan & a few LED lights. The HD cable I used with the roof panels when they were portable is now used to connect the Tvan to the batteries in the pod. I fitted a flush mount anderson plug fitting today for that purpose. Almost 10 metres. Voltage gauge in Pod was reading 13.2v & the voltage gauge in the Tvan read 13.1v. I was happy with that. Not having a battery in the Tvan helps keep the drawbar weight down a bit.

I’ve fitted the new rain gutters on the pod now. Pr*ck of a job, took ages. Putting the ali angle on was easy enough, but getting all the silicon used previously to attach the plastic gutters was a real mission. Silicon should be banned from any surface which may ever need to cleaned! I was going to use adhesive (Fulaprene 303) to attach the aluminium, but the limited clearance underneath the door hinges meant that doing so would be very difficult without getting in an almighty mess, so I made the job super easy by using some 3M VHB tape.

Far out. So you could go what?? A month with no charge input???
No wonder you needed stiffer springs

Last week I bit the bullet & ordered a Patroldocta stainless 4" airbox & snorkel combo.

I installed it today, I'm in love!

Took it in to get the wheel alignment checked, still spot on after two years. Anyone looking for a wheel alignment or suspension fix in the Ballarat area I highly recommend Dale from 'Truline Steering & Suspension'. Been in the business for years and knows his stuff, independent operator and honest.
No connection, just a satisfied customer for many years.

Started to remove everything to swap over the intake manifold with a clean one. Thanks to big_fletch for this. Got the IC off and throttle body. Then realised I need to disconnect the injector lines. Im going to abort for now and I might aswell save a bit longer for new squirters and do the glow plugs while im at it. Then its all done.
But I will do the return line mod now while im here....

Spent 3 hours underneath with the gerni, another 2 hours scrubbing inside and out, tried polishing out new scratch and made it worse, so booked in for a cut and polish, and fitted my new over-riders.
