Finally cleaned it!!!!!!!!
I went out last weekend covered in mud and didnt get a chance to clean it until today. What a nightmare, clean your Patrol as soon as you get back not a week later...lol...It was like concrete!
I can't stand cleaning underneath the fold of the rear wheel arch too....Need to make up some kind of plastic guard like the front ones.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Bitumen Burner
Put my truck under full load using all the bits, pieces and toys - all in the comfort of the work carpark - using my 2 x 125w solar panels as 'power'.
Cranked up the HF radio on scan, UHF CB, 95lt Evakool fridge/freezer, and Handiwash hot/cold water system.
Gauge still says battery is 100% - after 4hrs of 'the works' - with the engine turned off.
I'll let it run overnight on full 'accessories and toys' and see what surprise is waiting for me tomorrow morning. lol
I may not need a 3rd battery, after all. Stay tuned.
