I also replaced the alternator plug after my trip to Bright where the connectors and wire broke and alternator lost all charge, I ended up doing a dodgy solder on the terminals and got it charging again.
Finally I wired up a trailer lead/plug with flat cable in behind the jack cover. All I have to do now is hang it out the back door when/if I tow anything.
No Chit! I had done all three of those aswell! But the alternator died anyway...

Putting some 33 inch BFG AT's on mate. Finally some decent tyres. We are towing the camper up to Merimbula on Monday morning and these Coopers are lethal in the wet, I'd get better grip running on rims. They need to go....

Just fitted up my scangauge in it's new spot. Neat and tucked away. It used to be double side velcroed next to the gear stick.
Happy with the result.

You'll get good miles from the BFG ats, they dont like being aired down and tend to tram track a bit when lower but still a good tyre
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Took the dunger to Pro Axle today. Fixed the drifting left issue and adjusted the toe out. Said my caster was spot on but the diff end bush in the adjustable panhard was stuffed. Luckily I keep these in stock! And the only thing left to do but I can do later is put an adjustable top knuckle bearing in to straighten the left wheel so it won't wear the outside of the tyre. At $300 to do it, it will have to wait.
Hopefully the tyres turn up tomorrow and I'll feel like a teenage kid with new Reebok Pumps!

CERTIFIABLY INSANE
Not today but yesterday BA and I did the swivel hub rebuild and wheel bearings on my old bus.
It's a long and grotty job but hanging out with a mate, playing with cars and talking shizen is why we're all here isn't it?

Always a pleasure Drew I enjoy your company.... I really dont enjoy doing a full hub rebuild but is very satisfying when complete.

Haha well spotted. It's actually always on scan unless we're on a trip. And it just happened to land on that channel when photo was taken.
