You shouldn't need castor correction bushes mate for a 2inch lift. I'd be going drop boxes if anything. Edit : Your not drinking on the job mate are you? Lol

Castor correction bushes came with the lift kit, and they are rubber ones so might as well use them. It's only a 2" lift so I thought drop boxes might be abit too much castor. It drives fine as it is but a little bit floaty so thought I would fit them too make it drive abit nicer when the Mrs drives is (yes I let her drive it) haha
Yes I might also have enjoyed a beverage whilst doing so lol

Yes the drop boxes would be a bit much hey. Reckon it might have been a better option thats all. As I haven't heard anything good about using castor correction bushes. Apart from doing what they are designed to do. Lol They just wear out prematurely. It will be interesting to see the difference the bushes make though with the steering.
Got the arms back in and can see it sits on a better angle with the swivel hubs. Will see how it drives once I get it all back together, and how long the bushes last. They cost me nothing too put in except time so if they wear out quick I'll look at another option. Spends alot of its time on the blacktop at the moment so should get a decent run out of them (fingers crossed)

just got the chassis and underneath stripped back with wire wheel to loosen the surface rust and shit buildup and then had it sprayed with penatrol and rust proofed, yearly check and touchup $40 which is very good.
the bloke doing it said there was decent mix of beach and desert sand under it

Installed a GME UHF and aerial into the ashtray hole. Looks mint! Need a 90 degree connector for the aerial cable to clear the ac ducting but...
Also diagnosed a leaky clutch hose with some help from the blokes here.

What are you using to repaint the chassis? I'm thinking of doing the same. Using POR15 paint though.
