Fitted earth strap. Still not working.
Checked switch. All ok. Still not working.
Ended up being some sort of blockage in the fuel transfer line, gently blew air through the line and all working now.
Missus just picked up the car from Nissan, so I'll see when I get home if it really is working or not.
If it is, happy days.
Do you have the standard tanks?
Not much loss with the standard sub being out of action.

Spent all days fixing my front left swivel hub and bearing. Sent the trol to a mechanic monday and he said he tightened it (didn't say it was busted) but the bearing finally broke/shattered friday on the way to work. Driving with the busted bearings was like pushing the trolly cart with the faulty wheel that rattles about.
Big shout out to mudrunner. without his thread http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...Rebuild-Thread the cv and swivel hub rebuild thread i probably would still be attempting to fix it.

the screws on the locking plate had been sheared off they were fun to drill out
CAM00158.jpg
licorice bullets anyone?
CAM00160.jpg
spent a bit of time wondering what the hell the part attached to the knuckle spindle was. Only to realise it was the remains of the inner wheel bearing. But she's fixed after a days work and getting absolutely filthy and I'm happy it's fixed
edit: oh forgot i need a new front left abs sensor it got caught up in the shrapnel mixer and was badly chewed on.

I've been trying to match make for over a year - silly bitch won't go for it LOL he's a nice kid (21yr old), fully qualified mechanic (now let's not enter into the debate of the word "mechanic"), does shit for me all the time on my car for cost of lunch and our awesome company
He's taller than her (and she's 6'1") and a good looking lad
WHYYYYYYYY does she pick the assholes?? Instead of the noice ones
Oh - and she can't even drive a manual, can't picture her ever doing anything besides putting petrol in her car LOL

You can never pick it, my daughter had a couple of wankers for boyfriends, one I told on the phone that I was on my way home and if he was there when I got home I would be arrested for murder! He was fortunately gone when I got home and I am still free and he was never seen again now she has a very nice fellow so I'm happy.
