Refitted the catch can after applying new hoses from the XC falcon heater hose range. Looks factory, but time will tell how long they last. On the manifold size, the hose is a tad too big, but the clamp still squeezed it down, so will see if it holds. The other thing is these hoses apparently don't like oil so will s to see how that goes. Also ran the tap to underneath the guard.

Collapsed CV or cactus wheel bearings, would be hard to hear any noise on those roads.
Bummer hope the repair bill isn't too high

In the last month I've rebuilt my front hubs, no great feat . But it taught me how the entire front diff works, as simple as it is the engineering behind it is amazing in terms of how to make a diff near on indestructible. Look for one wheel to completely loose it like the one in the picture one of the king bearings has to have fallen out lol. You can take the cv's out and the hubs will still hold there alignment its the top and bottom king bearing that literally attach it to the diff.

Please by all means those that know more than i do correct me, before you venture on these kinds of trips you should know your car inside and out and have all your maintenance done. This isnt a common problem that happens this is something that would have takin quite some time to develop.
