What I don't understand is how a 4.2 turbo engine requires say 800cfm and a 16.5L only requires 1600cfm? I am assuming the genset is running at a 'high idle speed and the TD42 at full snot? Curious to understand how you derive the flow ratings?
This Genset's max rpm is only 1400 rpm. Not a lot. A TD42 is 4000. RPM is a big factor, more than engine size.
