Is yours still on the road Ben???
Been nearly 2 months since I started mine =[
Haven't had money to put fuel in it. Going for a drive this weekend though and I'll take it.
I've only driven 3000kms in it so far this year.

Nothing. They wiped their hands with it, because in the eyes of their insurer and likely the courts (which I have given up on because of the cost and time compared to getting another motor) , me(not a qualified mechanic) installing the motor into the chassis and fitting all the auxillary items caused the pistons/bore cleance to be set at 14 thou, not 25 thou and grabbing the bore, the crank to be ground out of square then evidence of that to be destroyed because requesting an inspection and report means machine, amongst other things. I should have gone with my gut and built the thing myself, atleast any failure will actually be my fault

Changed the rear diff oil after checking the oil cos pinion started leaking a bit. Was reasonably dirty hopefully doesn't give to much trouble if i can make it home to replace the pinion will be happy.
Checked all other oils which were fine and replaced air filter. Pretty bad i know but hadn't changed it since the desert trip, it was pretty bad 😕. . .

New filter don't even clean It
saw dust for the diff till you get home
new oil will leak more, saw dust mate works every time in the oil

Haha banana peel, old used car salesman trick to quieten noisy diffs until customer is down the road!
