    Well Done Hodgestar
Even matches your washer bottle cap
You’re honestly going to love Optima’s
I personally and many other mates face to face discussions are perplexed and have no idea where the McGoogle bad press comes from, can only assume insanely poor system designs because no one I know has experienced anything but bulletproof greatness

Thanks Marko mate. When a new starter needed came up on the cards, it was a no brainer really. After seeing jff45 Johns setup and consulting legendary Mudrunner about fitting, it was a done deal.
Extra caution is called for with the oil dipstick for it not to become a welding arc wand vs. the positive terminal with new battery height.

New Roof Rack fitted the past week.

Removed the Old Rescue Basket (Ladder Rack) System, Rhino Basket and 150mm PVC Tube, and fitted a OCAM Alloy Flat Rack and two 100mm PVC Tubes in their place.

Although those circuit breakers are claimed to be waterproof, be warned - THEY ARE NOT. Water does get in around the shafts through the rubber membrane. At least that is my experience. And mine were only subjected to spray/splash and not immersion.

Figured as much looking at it.
So considering the battery location I guess the best option is auto reset breakers then paint it to seal it up.

Installed some 90 deg hose bends on the rear engine cooling loop instead of the externally restrained wire hose formers, so now I have better flow than before - still have to install the kit i purchased from the US that is sized correctly apparently. Also installed a manual breather on the heater circuit so I can get rid of as much air as possible from the cooling circuit. Been a big day.
