That is one of the down sides of upgrading - it hurts sometimes when use it. You'll soon get over it.

Good to have a few small things happen on a new truck, then you are used to it and can relax and not worry too much next time.

Not sure mate, I'm not going to worry about it as that is what I got it for, just a bit of a "wow what have I done after spending all that money" moment..............all good now though.
Had the same feeling when I sideswiped a grasstree when I first got my new 2007 GU 3 litre.............

Yep, second time out with my one I ran over a stick and it flicked up into the passenger side door and made a horrible noise and I thought oh well, there's its first battle scar. Pulled up but couldn't see anything. Thinking that was a get out of jail free card, then about 100m further up same thing happened on the drivers side, this time it sounded like some ripped half the side of the car out. Didn't stop, didn't look, didn't want to know. Got home to find heaps of paint missing off the slider, and big scuffs up the side of the door and a couple of decent dents in the door, just below the window. I think the slider saved the day to be honest. Both times I didn't see what I ran over due to leaf litter etc.

Nearly finished wiring in the two Redarc gauges. I decided to get the lighting controller aswell and wire this in. I hope I have done it all right. I have no power in the car yet, and won't know until the new donk is in, whether I have succeeded or not.
I then whispered sweet nothings to the Patrol and said, soon baby, all good things come to those who wait...

I swear I heard a voice respond with, Wait! How much f*%king longer?!

Just leave all the fuses out of your aftermarket electrical modifications when you power up, then reinstall one by one so you can monitor what happens.

They say talking to inanimate objects is the first sign of insanity, but I think hearing it talk back is..
