Not today but over the weekend, installed the new GME XRS radio and extension speaker. Really impressed with the radio so far, it's got some awesome features and sound is much clearer than the old uniden I pulled out.

Really nice work Chrisso mate! Does look like the perfect GQ speaker position for all onboard to hear clearly
More than ever now we’ll have to mind our Ps & Qs with little backseat ears soaking up radio chatter :-)

I think we'll need to install these speakers just to hear the whisper quite tones of @MB over the radio.

Ha har my good friend, but I already have. Albeit the speaker is mounted lower than Chrisso’s.

Today I changed all body mount bushes.
It was a real porno show.

There should be a special kettle in the hell for an engineer, who designed a rear body bush mount place which placed between welded body panels.

It was the same as the GU rear mounts. Until I realised there is another two, hidden, mounts attached to a small cross member just above the rear diff, which were stopping me from raising the rear of the body up high enough.

Changed out the rear shocks. One was weeping oil so one in both in.
Keep the "good"one just in case......
Unfortunately they were just outside the 3 year warranty. Had done around 10,000ks some of which were pretty hard. Also at extreme flex the springs would just touch the shocks.

Heading up to the VHC this week, Erica, Woods Point and Kevington,. Happy Days
