TD42t diesel fuel pump
Hi guys,
I recently did a engine swap from zd30 to td42ti. The problem is the fuel pump is not the mechanical one its the one controlled by the computer out of the gu6.
As I only have a zd30 computer the fuel pump is not plugged in and is not getting the advance above 2500rpm.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Or where I can swap my newer fuel pump for a older mechanical one that is still from a gu.
Thanks

The td42ti pump should just got to full advance if not plugged in. You could try getting all the associated wiring and computer to hook it all up or you could even use a unichip.
It would be easier to change to the mechanical style pump. You could try diesel injection specialists to see if they have new, reco or secondhand items. Other than that eBay, gumtree etc.
