    Red face Chinese vs genuine (wiCh is probably Chinese anyway!)

    cheap snorkels? I've seen some Snorkels for upto 500 bux, for a moulded bit of plastic I'm leaning towards a copy. At around 120..

    Unless it melts in the sun I can't see why u would pay 30O+ for gen?
    Any luck on the cheaepies? Regarding airflow... non meltability etc

    I don't think you can buy a snorkel that is not Chinese Made

    Brand name means you pay more for the same manufacturered item.

    X2 - yep, some of the gear is the same, but while it's still so hit and miss for quality, I'll stick to known gear for vital equipment (I consider a snorkel vital), other than that, check out AB's build thread for a snorkel - having seen it in the flesh a few weeks back, it's fully functional and looks a bloody treat!!

    Safari say their snorkels are still made in Australia.
    Don't think I've seen anything made in China that is much good.
