Servicing 98 GU 2.8TD

Hey, just wondering where you guys take the Truck for the general service. Im sure most you do it your Self. Im new to diesel so got a steep learning curve.

The Guy i bought the Truck from was in newcastle and always serviced it in Newcastle Nissan Dealer or Local J&W Mechanical. he has given me some of the receipts of all the services he did.

if i take it to a Dealer they charge a mint. The Nissan /Hyundai Dealer in NSW at RYDE are not very good ive taken my xtrail there and my Wifes Hyundai there the car always comes back with a fault.

After a day on Stockton beach i got it serviced and got it back with about a Kilo of sound in teh airbox. great service place NOT....

Not sure down your way mate - there's a few other threads on here with Sydney based mechanics who've had a good wrap ...

Bloody hard to find a good one, but once you do, you'll never look back!!
