Important news - did you download the screensaver?

Recently & on there own merit one of the forum members engaged in an exercise to create a screen saver based on a Nissan Patrol theme which included some pictures of members Nissan Patrol 4x4's donated to the project by the members themselves. The finished product was offered by the member as a free download & a subsequent link to a separate site provided by the member containing the "screen saver exe file" was posted for anyone who was interested.

It has recently been brought to the forum Administration's attention that the "screen saver exe file" mentioned above contains a Trojan. All links to the location containing the "screen saver exe file" mentioned above have been removed in an effort to prevent further access from the forum itself for the purpose of downloading this file".

The forum Administration also strongly advises anyone who has downloaded the "screen saver exe file" mentioned above to remove it from there computers.

The forum Administration would like to reassure its members & visitors that the forum itself & its web site are 100% VIRUS FREE & safe to visit.

That all said - many thanks to this member for offering your time and effort to put this together in the first place. Your continued involvement in assisting with things like this is what defines this place - people who constantly give up their own time and go out if their way to assist, and you are the very definition of that!

The virus was through a hosting provider which was absolutely out of both the member and the forums control and we have all learnt a lesson from this process.

Hopefully we'll find suitable ways around this sort of issue in the future to ensure people can continue to offer the same sort of friendly help and services as per this members original efforts and intent.

By the way mate - I still want a copy!!!! lmao ... figure it out lad!!!
