This is a work pc that is networked to 5 others. Two of them win 7, and three still on xp. I use it for designing, myob, email and Web browsing.
Will it cause any problems. Is it even worth it?
    NO, leave it be.

Old saying for you to heed, If it aint broke, Don't fix it.

As your machine is a work and involves networking to other machines, leave it alone. Upgrading will mean some issues with getting used to interface that is very different to Win7 and XP. MYOB will need to be the latest version as well, if on 19.7 or older then not suited for Win8 onwards.

You break it, then I will have to drive up there and give you a hard time and fix it.

Why would you download a program that potentially may come with bloatware to uninstall a program that is easy to uninstall yourself?

Firstly, because I know and use it myself daily and is free of bloat. Secondly, most on here don't which win update it is that gives you the nag note. Thirdly, it is not an easy step for most to remove all of it and certainly not as you have illuded to.

Likewise, try the tool before knocking it. Takes 15 secs to run and has other benefits.

FYI, it's called android phone trying to render this site and have diconary/auto-correct fun. (yes, diconary was deliberate)

Lol, how can the dictionary auto correct to a non existant word? Poor old dictionary needs at least the first three or so letters correct.
Also, try Tapatalk app for this forum, I find it works quite well.
I think I will try the option to remove the alert without adding another program but thanks for the reply mate
