    Pyro and boost Gauge.. Where to put them?

    I have a pair of gauges on there way and was hoping to get a few ideas of where to mount them. I have seen a few people put them in the piller.. But was hoping for a few more ideas.. YNOT posted a pic of his set up which was under his CD player, this is pretty cool but was still considering putting the UHF there.. If anyone has them in other places like the dash above the aircon vents or anywhere else.. Any pics would be great

    Cheers Steve

    You can get a dash pod which goes on top of the dash right in the middle.

    Just looked up pod holders on ebay and found these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Carbon-Fi...a#ht_561wt_952

    So heres a stupid question... If I was to go with a Dash pod where do people run the wires? Do they drill in to the dash?

    Cheers Steve

    I also have the same gauges and my two came with a dash pod, I was planning on running them under my dash mat and then down the back of the dash between the fire wall, well I was hoping that is what I will be able to do. Will let you know how I go, will only be installing them over the xmass hols along with my turbo timer.

    This is how I mounted my gauges, an ally plate with counter sunk holes. Routed the wires through a hole right behind the windshield. There are 4 or 5 of the holes with round cover that can easily be pried off.

    The only decent place to put a Pyro and Boost is a Pillar Pod to be honest. You want to see the Pyro more than yo want to see the bloody speedo mate, Dont dump it half way down your dash as it will become less relevant and it might just save you car one day.

    I have mine in the GQ mounted in the middle and it is good but i have a double pillar Pod in the GUIV and it is perfect.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
