The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Without even looking at the link I knew that would be Heath Lawson's GU, pure diesel insanity. Hard to believe that truck competed in the Outback Challenge and other offroad comps.

Just Crazy Tony. Amazing and Magnificent!

Did it do the Challenge in its current for though? Surely not? in a previous life? It looks like it is a flat track straight line strip car now.

The Intercooler work by ARE is Gob Smacking! As is the cage work by Heath.

No it looked a little different when it competed offroad. I know he ran a heavily modified TD42T offroad, I'm not sure if he had the first Duramax in for any offroad events though. Heath's work is incredible.

I tried 2 join just so I could see the GU mate but they wouldn't let me join.

I had 2 answer this question: Which manufacturer produces the Landcruiser?:
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

I replied with: a manufacturer that designs useless crappy four wheel drives.

Guess it is no great loss, Its only a GU anyway *LMAO*
