    ASC Switch

I have just bought a used GU and it has a switch, located up near the sun roof switches, that is labeled ASC. It lights up red when switched on.

I have looked through my Owners Manual and there is nothing about it.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for that - but I have already thought of that and as there are no gun mounts on the roof - i don't think so.

I found this when researching your question for you. It maybe what your switch is reasonable for. Link below.

Thanks Paul - but I have found an answer and it is a LOT more simple.

When the sun roof is open it automatically closes when the ignition is switched off UNLESS this ASC switch is on. Then the sun roof stays open when the ignition is switched off.

I have tried it and it works.

You would think it would be in the owners manual!
