    Hydraulic Steering Hose Clamps

Just a heads up recommending you check your steering hydraulic rubber line clamps. Had to change out an AC idler bearing and water pump on the wife's Y60 Safari a couple days ago and found that every OEM clamp was leaking. One hose had actually worked its way half way off the steel line. Could have been nasty with the misus driving it had it popped all the way off. I changed all the clamps out. Actually had to cut a couple of them off as they were rust welded.

And a related rant, why did Mr. Nissan positions the factory clamps in such a way that anyone with normal size hands and regular tools cannot get to them without giving blood?
