Unhappy GQ 4.2 EFI TCU ( Transmission Control Unit )

    Hi,

Does anyone out there know where we can get a GQ 4.2 EFI TCU (Transmission Control Unit) from for a 1993 GQ Patrol?

    Nissan Part No. 31036 35J10

Unfortunately, due to the location of the unit in the car it drown in a creek we got stuck in

    Thanks heaps

    Welcome to the forum.

When you get a chance, visit our introductions section & post up an intro please.

The GQ TCU's can be got S/H it will just take a bit of ringing around S/H 4x4 parts dealers....

    Just a tip:

If you can? Get the plug with it & the wires cut as far back as they can so you can either extend the loom yourself or have it done for you & relocate your TCU to a higher location to minimize future drownings. This is a common practice for those who have suffered the same fate.

    Send Jeff ( whitegq ) a PM http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...p?2603-WHITEGQ

The last time I spoke 2 him he had a spare and another one that he wasn't going 2 be using soon as he was converting his auto over to manual.

Just tell him toddrhind said you had a spare and how much does he want for it

    Cheers

    Todd
