A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart.

Walhalla is a great place. Stayed in the pub there last year. It is fairly new but built from original plans from the one that burned down years ago. Walhalla was the last major locality in Vic to get electricity. The mine tour is really good. Take your camera as the scenery is fantastic. Sorry I can'y be there. Have a ball.

HI just got home from Walhalla - Roofy, Kat and their families are still up there ready to head out again tomorrow. It was a good day. Currently editting video taken today and I am sure Kat will have more as well!

Love that area and being 1 hour from home it's great. There's heaps to see and do.Old mine shaft's, mining equipment everywhere and old cemetry's.Plus the tracks are great aswell.I get up there every chance i get, just a shame i had things on this weekend.
