    i ended up doing something similar about 6 or 7 years ago in my gu at the time.. it handled it well but over the next couple weeks my alternator packed it in as did the starter motor so it became an expensive trick but the motor never missed a beat!!!

    I wonder if they saw mythbusters. Once you are under water the only way to open doors or windows is wait patiently for the car to fill above door line. Panick and you will run out of oxygen. Always wind back windows down a inch now when driving though water.
