It is diesel.
after VIN check - ENGINE: RD28TI TYPE ENGINE

Great info, thanks! I'm certainly hoping the RB28T is a six cylinder, else I've got an alien on my hands!!! Wonder if they started out life as a four and then changed? Hmmmmm! The 2.7 on the little sister Terrano is a four cylinder I think?
