air bag wiring?

as some of you may know im rebulding a 02 dx gu wagon ex underground bus. long story short i was told from people that had rebuilt these before that the air bag modules are taken out, got hold of one pretty easy, went to plug it in today but couldnt find the harness.......... from my dealings most air bag wiring usually has bright coloured connectors.......... the only one i could find was the passenger side air bag connector, has any one got any idea what happens to this harness once the module is removed? does it have to be bypassed, brideged or take out completly any help greatly appreciated.

do you need the air bag for road worthy??
