    Question suspension lift

    hey guys just wanted to no how much can u lift a 97 gq before u need to start changing pan hard rods and caster correction????

    and whats a good brand to buy for about max of $1000

    and also is it hand to do a body lift and what needs to be change and moded

    Anything over 2" is gunna need more mods caster correction etc, and I think some even at 2" i think some have modified.

    You should be fine with 2 inch lift with out other changes.
    Checkout supensionstuff.com.au and find what you like. I'm running 2" lift , dobinsons colis and koni shocks. All up cost 1200 bucks

    There's a lot in your price range

    i just dont want to go through the sh!t with pan hard rods and sh!t like that.
    also can a 2.8 turbo run 33 with no problems

    With 2" lift no problems, but might rub on mud flaps on full flex

    When my ute had a 2 inch lift it did have offset radius arm bushes. 2 degrees I believe. It had king springs and rancho 9000x shocks. This was all on the ute when I bought it

    personally I think a body lift is a waste of time and effort, you dont gain any clearence on the chassis and you increase your centre of gravity
