    ECU Problems.

G'day Gang, noticed someone posted a blog asking a question which is the section that no one really looks at and thought I would put it here for anyone to have a look at.

    Hi guys,

I have a diesel 2.8L GU '98 patrol, I've had a few issues with my ECU playing up in the past, I was wondering if anyone on here has used or had any experience with any of the chips or attachments u can buy on ebay or anywhere else.

If so what r they like and are they worth my while?

    Thanks.

What issues have you had with your ECU, and how were they rectified?
Are the EBAY chips and attachments you are referring to power upgrade parts? If they are, they won't actually fix any problems you are having with the factory ECU, as they are only really piggyback or secondary computers.
We need a bit more information to answer this properly.

So many bloody sensors on these engines that ECU problems would be fairly serious
