Engine Change

hello my a iam fron colombia and i own a 1995 y60 patrol i wanto to change the current engine (tb42) to a td42 or a zd30ddti please wich one of them is the more usefull for my truck and a need to know the average fuel consumption and if someone know if i do have to change the transmisions

Welcome to the forum Pedro.

Go for the TD42 (I'd be very surprised if anyone says go the ZD30!), uses the same gearbox as TB42 but with a different bell housing.

My neighbour and I are currently swapping his TB42 to TD42 so hang around mate and there will be a nice DIY thread about it in coming weeks!
