GQ Front Flare Options

I have a collection of old GQ flares but all are mangled or haggard, so bought some after market units that turned out to be thin and flimsy and leaning against one have already broken the front tab off and will require a repair.

What experience or preferences are there for either rubber flares, say 75mm or the Kut Snake or Jungle Flares? I dont think these light weight units would last a single trip in reality in Vic.
