I have had my GU 2.8 for about 3 years now, she’s my bush pig.

I didn’t care about her duco, or the cleanliness inside
Nor the tint upon the windows, or the tyres not so wide
I didn’t care about the steering, vibrations up my arm
She was gunna find her place, driving road and farm to farm.
I know that she had scratches, and has gotten a few more
And at some stage been mistreated, broken glass inside the door
Stones and wood and grease, upon the carpet in the back
Three different wheel spanners, a crowbar but was no jack
I’d been looking for a while, and I thought that I had found
A forby of my heart’s desire, that was running kind of sound
I know these cars have issues, and they often need a fix
Which ones today I’ll have a look, and cross ‘em off my list
Now I’ve tightened or replaced, and repaired a thing or two
And probably barked a nuckle, with everything I do
But she winds on and fires up, every time I hit the key
And I’ll fix her up and keep her runnin’, cos she’s the rig for me..
