Patrol God
Who owns what now that had a patrol?
I’ll start 2xGU 4.2 patrols forced to sell due to gvm dramas with a caravan purchase, mind you I was 332kg over without the van with just me in it. Currently driving a 2019 BT50 with gvm upgrade to 3500kg
2003 gu3 td42tdi sold 😞 bloody gvm towing crap. Bt50 3500kg gvm.

Legendary
Sorry mate, but almost 10 years later and I've still got it. It's the longest car that I've ever owned in the 30+ years of owning cars..

This year I complete 20 years of ownership of my trusty Suzuki Samurai, a 1997 model that I got used in 2004. Not what Stropp intended for this topic but I felt like saying it after seeing your post.
Cheers.

SUCH IS LIFE
2xGU’s, 1xMav and now have an Isuzu DMax.
My last 2012 Patrol gave me too much grief and I needed a Ute as well so dMax was my choice

The 747
I bought my GQ in 2012 and can't see myself every selling it. It has been retired now to only boys weekends and hunting trips, we also have an Isuzu Mu-X for long distance touring and caravanning.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Patrol God
As I watched the rusty beat up much loved GQ silhouette of my first patrol get driven away I told myself that I'd get another one day.... Had a Navara for a bit of day tripping for 5 years and now just got back behind the wheel of a beautiful series 1 darling GU. Also constantly hunting for a reasonably priced mq shorty but the days of seeing one of those are passing..
