    Zd30 Problems

Have recently done an engine swap (2002 changed to a 2000 motor ) i dont know if there is much different but after the initial start and fixing all the faults i found i only have 2 problems it wont boost over 11-13psi i have got it remapped desired boost is 20psi, no matter how much i adjust the tillix it will not make more boost, my other problem is at idle ( 725-800rpm) the whole car gets pretty shaky/wobbly but when you rev it up or drive it doesn’t keep shaking or wobbling until back at idle im not sure what these are caused by if you guys could give me a few ideas
i’ve gone over the basics like hoses maf sensor is reading 1.4v cheers fellas

Is the boost slow to get to 13psi? Are you running a needle valve with the Tillix? Does the vac controlled boost solenoid, located near the air box mounted on the air intake hose( i think from memory), still have rubber vac tubes connected? All the Tilix does is cap the amount of boost. A needle valve allows you to increase or decrease how fast the turbo spools up.

If you have had the ECU remapped to 20 psi you shouldn't even need the Tillix valve, the remap is designed to do what the Tillix is trying to do. I'd remove the Tilix and plumb the turbo vac line back to original and see what happens.

When at idle and the engine is shaking, give the hand primer on top of the fuel filter a few pumps and see if it stops shaking. If it does it could be a bad fuel filter, it could possibly be air getting in either from the hose clamps, the hose itself or the primer pump is shot. Could be bad injectors.
