    Another proportioning valve post.

    Hi Guys,

Gu ute. My bracket has broken off and disappeared with the spring so I made a new one. The problem is ive had to in the time being used a light spring. Now because I’m using a home made bracket, the spring length measurement doesn’t help.

Does anyone know where the prop leaver position is when unladen? Is the lever completely out or is there some preload on it?

    Thanks Guys.

Have you checked the manuals section ?

im pretty sure it shows you exactly how to set it up from scratch, im sure thats how i found out how to set mine "correctly" a few years back.

Why reinvent the wheel? I'm sure you can get a spring and a bracket at a wrecker. You could be mucking about for weeks and still not get it right. The correct operation of this valve is more important than most people think.
