What have i got?
Sorry for the ignorance, but how do i know the model of my truck and the engine type - the vehicle is as the photo shown by my name, its a 4.2 Diesel i believe, but what model?
Hopefully the last of the stupid questions.

there is no photo but im guessing the engine would be a TD42 what year is it ??? or put some pics up and we can help you out ???

The only stupid questions on here are the ones you don't ask.
You have a Y60 Patrol/Safari with a TD42 engine.
Yours is the rarer high roof model and being a Safari (in Japan they were called Safari, in Australia Patrol) it's most likely the top spec TI model with electric everything.

Not sure about electric everything - sunroof (its a big un) windows, central locking, heated rear screen, Rear passenger heater, i didnt think it was very flash, but compared to other 4x4's of a similar year very happy with the fit out

would be the TI GQ TD42 next question is does it have a turbo if it does then its the TD42T

Nah, no turbo fitted, and it seems to go well enough without one, but i acn be persuaded otherwise by anyone who has fitted one.
Is this known as the GQ model?
