Fat and Skinny went to war
Stumbled across this interesting vid on YouTube. Wide vs narrow off-road tyre performance, measured and tested.

There are things I probably should get over about this whole tyre selection issue. You know, something like why I continue to install tyres on my vehicles that resemble my guts, if you know what I mean! But they do look good.

I’m not actually researching this topic, but as youtube algorithms do, here’s another one that popped up for me.
https://youtu.be/aq3GwcPkDHk?si=GILNgtoH5FaHNQPa
Am I actually late to the skinny party? Are pizza cutters really better 4x4 tyres? Or are most people like me believing fat tyres are better off-road, in my case for no particular reason why?
I also saw another video on YouTube which showed skinny tyres being used by the Dakar 4x4s and trucks (relative to their size). I’ll see if I can find it again.
Still like my 4 on the floor and fats all round though (but not blue oyster style haha).
