    ZD30 2016 Gauges

    Tried searching , general discussion available but couldn’t find direct answer for my question

    Note: this is my first patrol , heaps to learn. engine ZD30 /2016
    Gu got ecu= shop ultra boost with hi flow Garrett turbo,

    What are the must have gauges
    At the moment it has EGR & Boost Pressure , Gauge for dual battery . is this adequate , what to keep an eye on and additional gauges to include

    What you have is adequate. If you really want you can go water temp and oil pressure. I run the Redarc range for the dual batts and another for the oil pressure and water temps. The EGT and boost I run a McNally branded gauge which I like as its simple and quick and easy to read, analog boost pressure and digital EGT. The Redarcs are good as its in effect three in one gauge. My oil pressure/ water temp gauge I also run an outside ambient temp gauge of it aswell. The dual batt gauge reads both batteries and you can also run an amp meter of the same gauge.

    Thank you for the details. Both are Redarc gauges. Will add water temp /oil pressure gauge in future since it is not critical. Next item is adding rear drawer system/some light setup for camping
