    Self Inflating mattress

Ok guys, what's good and what's not.
    Looking for a queen size.
BCF have wanderer, darche and few other brands, Anaconda have dune and black wolf.

Will also be using a stretcher bed..

We have the Macpac double self inflating mattress and that is very comfortable.
Pretty easy to pack up with one person.
We got it on sale for $189 from memory.

Pretty hard to go past the old therm-a-rest.

Between me and the kids have tried Coleman and "Freedom" branded ones as well... nothing wrong with them, just assume the chineseness will let us down (pun intended) at the worst possible time.

Stretcher getting you off the ground is half the battle won, imo. maybe try a closed-cell foam rollup and compare

Zempire Monstamat mate, we love ours and soooo comfy!!!

They are a bit of a pain to pack up on your own though.

We got the same, but we got 2 singles. They were bloody brilliant until my wife decided to bring a cat home which very proudly put a million pin holes in them, so they are in the bin needing to be replaced

We have a black wolf super deluxe (or something like that) I think it's 7cm thick. No issues other than it takes up heaps of space when packed.

Thanks guys with your input and a bit of Goggle surfing I went out and brought the zempire monstamat twin, try to buy the matching stretcher bed but nothing in Vic through bcf(need one for next week). Off to (with a posh accent) Brighton tomorrow morning to get the stretcher from Macpac.

The excuse was for the Mrs to be more comfortable, but I think I'll get more use out of it. Also brought her a heated jacket out of total tools while it was on sale..

If anyone is interested the new mat and bed is something that I should've done years ago. To finish of the sleeping arrangements I've ordered a new sleeping bag.
