RB30 EFI conversion injector question

Hi, we are gathering the parts to do the RB30 efi conversion. We sourced an intake manifold complete with injectors and fuel rail.
When inspecting and testing (12v) the injectors I found one dead and one with a cracked plastic cap.
We sourced another set from a VL commodore, but none of these have the plastic caps!
Does this matter? Is this right? If not I see that you can buy them in a kit, how do you replace them?
