Glow plug troubles
Oops drowned my Gq a little bit and still not starting. I have checked my fuses and relays all ok. The Gregorys book talks about a glow plug control unit. Can this be bypassed or does anyone know how much for a new one, or where a seconhand one can be sourced?

Patrol God
oops, should raise these up high before attempting water crossings. I believe approx $350 to replace. Auto elec should be able to source one.

Have you checked that you are getting power to the glow plugs?
Did you check the fuses inside the vehicle?
How far in the cab did the water get?
If you have 4.2 you can bypass the grow plug control unit by supplying power to the glow plug relay (making the relay switch on).
If you have the 2.8 these are a bit harder to bypass because they have a dual glow type set up.
